At Alert we are committed to the quality of our product. We stock cellular phones in various conditions and functionality.  

Return Policy

Our products that fall under our warrantees are eligible for replacement, repair or credit. We must be contacted by email at mikal@alertcom2004.com during the warranty period to receive a return authorization number. This email must include ESNs associated with the handsets being returned, and well as a description of each problem covered under warranty associated with each ESN.  Phones should either be returned in the same box they were received in or tightly bubble wrapped to avoid any further damage.  Additional damage taken on these phones due to poor packing may invalidate your warranty.  All returns must be prepaid.  All returns must come back in the same condition they were shipped to you.  All returns must be shipped with in 7 days of authorization.  Send tracking number to the above email address.  Please read carefully our warranty scale as policies vary with each class of product.

Our quality and warranty scale is as follows:

Alert Call Tested (ACT):  We hold our call tested phones to the highest standards.  Each ACT handset has been put through a vigorous testing process.  These handsets are guaranteed to pass the following tests: Power up, test call, good LCD, and good camera where applicable. We make no guarantee regarding the cosmetic condition of the phone. We warranty this product class for 15 Days domestically and 30 days international.

"As Is" Stock, or USED (AUS): A low cost alternative to tested stock ideal for repairers and refurbishing businesses.  These handsets come in varying states and are unprocessed by our testing department.  These handsets come with no warranty, but we will often be able to give an approximate yield on these lots.

Refurbished (REF): These handsets are guaranteed to pass all of the tests associated with (ACT) stock. In addition are guaranteed to be "like new" having no scratches and having all functions of the phone be in working order. We warranty our refurbished products for 90 Days domestically and internationally.

New (NEW): These handsets are guaranteed to pass all of the tests associated with (ACT) stock. In addition are guaranteed to bave all features of the phone be in working order. We warranty our new products for 90 Days.

Repair Stock (ARS):  These handsets failed 1 or more of the following tests: Power up, test call, good LCD, or good camera where applicable. We make no guarantee regarding the cosmetic condition of the phone.  We have made no attempt to repair these handsets ourselves.  These handsets are covered by no warranty.

Salvage Stock (SAL):  These handsets are covered by no warranty. These phones are a lower level of repair stock. These phones are for parts only, and have no guarantee regarding their assembled state or parts.
